Policy for handling personal data
In order for you to make a purchase on this webshop, we at PCSCHEMATIC A/S need the following information:
• Company name
• Company VAT number
• Invoice/Delivery address (postbox address not allowed)
• E-mail address
We register this data in order to be able to deliver the products you purchased, as well as to give you the customer service, that you are entitled to.
When you order a product from our webshop, you may subsequently be contacted by PCSCHEMATIC, or by the PCSCHEMATIC reseller in your country. Apart from this, we will never sell, rent or share individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission.
If you receive, or have received, an unwanted e-mail sent from PCSCHEMATIC or a PCSCHEMATIC reseller, please forward a copy of the e-mail with your comments to firstname.lastname@example.org for review, and we will take action immediately.
Having your data registered at PCSCHEMATIC A/S, you have the right to object against this registration. You also have the right to gain insight into which information have been registered about you, according to the Danish Personal Data Protection Act. According to the “E-Privacy Directive” of the European Union, we inform you which cookies our webshop use. The applied cookies are described at the website of our webshop service provider WooCommerce.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT (INCLUDING STRICT LIABILITY OR NEGLIGENCE), CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE, SHALL PCSCHEMATIC A/S BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER, OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY, FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, REVENUE OR PROFIT, LOST OR DAMAGED DATA, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL OR ECONOMIC LOSS OR FOR ANY OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF ANY OF OUR PRODUCTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR IF SUCH DAMAGES ARE FORESEEABLE. IN NO EVENT WILL PC|SCHEMATIC’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS PURCHASE EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY CUSTOMER TO PCSCHEMATIC IN CONNECTION WITH THE PURCHASE.

Our company was founded in 1978. We create and sell the PCSCHEMATIC software.
PCSCHEMATIC A/S accepts payment by MasterCard, Maestro and Visa. The currency for the payment is Euro. The charged amount is not deducted from your account until the ordered items are shipped from PCSCHEMATIC A/S.
The shipment costs depends on which country the product is shipped to, and will be specified during the purchasing process.
Prices in this webshop are specified exclusive of VAT. This is because we only sell our products business-to-business (B2B) in this webshop.
There is no credit card fee when you purchace products in our webshop.
Encrypted credit card information
The credit card information, that you type in, is automatically encrypted using the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that third parties have no access to your card number or any other information entered during the financial transaction. This service is handled for us by Bamboa.
Software delivered by package
When you purchase our software, you need to download it over the internet. You will recieve links to the software, and a license code for activation, either the same day you order or the following business day. If you pay extra, you can also have the software delivered in a package, which will be delivered to you within 2 to 15 business days (estimate only) after we have received your order – depending on which country it is delivered to.
Track number and shipment costs
When we send a package, we send it registered, which also means that it has a track number (Order Code), which enables you to track the shipment status for the package. Shipment costs are added to the price of the product(s) you purchace in our webshop. The shipment costs are specified to you in the ordering process.
Products Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)
When you purchase products in our webshop, the products are delivered DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid).
DDU is a transaction term in international trade, where the seller is responsible for making a safe delivery of goods to a named destination, paying all transportation expenses but not the duty. The seller bears the risks and costs associated with supplying the goods to the delivery location, where the buyer becomes responsible for paying the duty and other customs clearance expenses.
Duties, Taxes and Tariffs
All orders will be shipped from our headquarters in Denmark. You are subjected to all import duties, taxes and tariffs on any products ordered, which are imposed in your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, and you should contact your local customs office for further information.
Please note, that no duty has to be paid, when shipping products to countries within the European Union (EU).
When ordering from PCSCHEMATIC A/S, you are considered the importer of the goods purchased and must comply with all the laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. Generally, customs forms or shipping invoices for international packages will list the value of your order’s contents by product type. For shipping of products internationally, you have to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
In the event of additional information required by your local custom for clearing process, our freight forwarder will inform you. It is your responsibility to provide the necessary information to our freight forwarder by the stipulated timeline, failing which will result in your order being returned to us. Should your order be returned to us, you are responsible for the 2-way delivery charges.
Once an order leaves our distribution centre, we are not responsible for orders that are delayed through customs. If you think that your order(s) is likely to be/has been delayed please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and quote your Order Code, which is specified in the Order Confirmation email. Our customer service personnel will then assist you.
Signature Requirements for Delivery
We will be instructing the shipping companies not to leave packages at the shipping address without proper authorisation. The international courier services generally require a signature when delivery is expedited unless instructed by receiver otherwise.
It is necessary for you to provide a shipping address where someone is available to receive and acknowledge the package. Please note, that we are not allowed to send articles to a postbox address. Signature upon delivery is required for all shipments.
PCSCHEMATIC A/S and their distributors or resellers only guarantee that the the PCSCHEMATIC software in all essentials will function as described in the enclosed documentation. This guarantee will be active for a period of 12 months after receiving the software. PCSCHEMATIC A/S and their distributors or resellers can not directly or indirectly be held responsible for any loss of data, profit or other kind of loss by the license holder, as a consequence of using the PCSCHEMATIC software.
The PCSCHEMATIC software can be copied to any number of PC’s with relation to the license owner. However, the number of concurrent users of the PCSCHEMATIC software may not exceed the number of purchased licenses. The license owner is not allowed to lease away the PCSCHEMATIC software, but may transfer all rights to any other person or company, if PCSCHEMATIC A/S is informed, and contact data for the new owner is forwarded directly to PCSCHEMATIC A/S.
The license system
Any attempt to bypass the applied license system, for instance by making changes in the PCSCHEMATIC software, is not allowed.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Faulty, incorrectly supplied or damaged in transit goods may be returned for exchange or refund. Please contact us at email@example.com for a returns authorisation number, and return the goods quoting the returns authorisation number. We will credit you with the return postage costs provided that you return the goods as per our instructions.
Non-faulty goods may be returned for a refund within 14 days after receiving the goods, providing that such goods are in their original packaging and original condition and suitable for resale and software has not been unsealed. A re-stocking charge of 65 euro will be applied.
You are responsible for the cost of insuring and returning the goods. You need to contact us for a returns authorisation number and return the goods, in their original packaging quoting the returns authorisation number.
If you have received any special discounts due to volume purchases or other offers that would be affected by returning some items then we may, at our discretion, adjust the refund value to take this into account.
All refunds will be applied to any credit or debit card used for purchase with the amount being limited to a maximum of the price paid for the goods plus delivery charges.
