Where and how can I get new components?
You can create components yourself via the component wizard in Automation – or have us create them for you by going to the component portal and clicking the component requests button.
How do I upgrade from Automation v22 to the latest version?
Download and install the latest version directly from https://www.pcschematic.com/da/downloads/pc-automation/ – the license is automatically updated so you can continue without interruption.
Where do I find my license number?
When you open Automation look in the bottom left corner – there is your 5-digit license number.
How do I activate and move my license?
Open PCS License Manager on the old PC/Server, select the license and click the “Key-” icon.
After releasing on the “Key-” icon, activate the license on the new PC/Server.
This is done by:
- You start PCS License Manager on the new PC/Server
- Select localhost in the top left corner
- Tap on the “Key+” icon
- Copy the activation code into the box and press OK
- The license is now activated on the PC/server.
Activation code (received via email)
This code is always the same so it can be saved.
