With free access, you can explore PC Academy and get access to a selection of courses, learning modules, and recorded webinars. This gives you an introduction to the platform and the opportunity to learn more about selected features in PC SCHEMATIC.
With PC Academy Premium, you get access to the full course content. You can work through the courses at your own pace, learn more about the program’s features, and build your knowledge step by step. The courses are divided into different modules and include videos, learning materials, and quizzes.
You will, among other things, get access to courses covering
- Drawing functions – learn more about symbols and components, lines, and text. The course includes more than 50 lessons with accompanying quizzes.
- Special symbols – learn how to work with terminals, cables, PLCs, and more. The course includes more than 30 lessons with accompanying quizzes.
- Creating projects – learn how to use the tools you need to create and structure projects, including project and page settings, the page menu, and panel layout. The course includes more than 40 lessons with accompanying quizzes.

At PC Academy, you’ll find courses at various levels. Among other things, you can learn the basic functions of PC Automation and work with diagrams, panel layouts, and lists. There are also more advanced courses, such as those on how to use data from PC Automation with third-party software.
Can I try PC Academy for free?
Yes. PC Academy offers a free section where you can get a feel for the platform and try out selected content before deciding to purchase access to the paid courses.
How do I get access to PC Academy?
You can gain access by selecting the courses or products you want and adding them to your cart. When you complete your order, you’ll also create a PC Academy user account.
If you have purchased access to paid content, your access will be activated once we have processed your payment. This usually takes no more than two business days.
Can I take the courses at my own pace?
Yes. You can take the courses whenever it’s convenient for you, and you can go through them as many times as you’d like. After most courses, you’ll also find a quiz where you can test your knowledge and see if there are any areas you might want to review again.
What language are the courses taught in?
All courses at PC Academy are taught in English. You can turn on English subtitles for the videos if you prefer to follow along with the text as the lesson progresses.
Do I need to have PC Automation installed to take the courses?
No. You do not need to have PC Automation installed to access and complete the courses in PC Academy.
However, if you want to try out the features and workflows covered in the course, it may be helpful to have access to the program.
