We now call ourselves what we are known for

"The branch itself decided long ago that our name was PC|SCHEMATIC”, says Managing Director Ove Larsen. We are thus celebrating our 30^th anniversary by officially changing our name to PC|SCHEMATIC A/S."

Throughout the course of many years, we have stood behind the electronics and automations industry's most utilized CAD solution for documentation. But very few actually new our company name. On the other hand, the name PC|SCHEMATIC has long been a recognized ”brand” in our branch. Therefore, we are changing our name to PC|SCHEMATIC A/S and, at the same time, we are changing our graphic ”look”.

Great gratitude towards the industry
”I feel a great sense of gratitude towards the electronics and automations industry”, Ove Larsen announces". Without 30 years of continuous contact with our country's electronics and automation professionals, our CAD solution would not have become the industry's most utilized vis a vis automation.

”There is immense engagement and a positive feeling regarding our project”, Ove Larsen adds. "Each year, 3-400 engaged professionals put aside an entire day in order to tell us how our program can be improved even further. Thousands contact us annually via our telephone service, and every year, at least 1000 new students become familiar with our product through the aegis of technical schools. Additionally, many give us a ring just to give us some good suggestions.”

Dialogue resulted in a new appearance
A dialogue that has been going on for 30 years, as well as an increasingly strong marketing position has made our new ”look” necessary. ”We wish to appear just as novel and fresh as the product itself ”, Ove Larsen continues, ”and at the same time, we wish to project the sense of order and decorum we believe we display through our daily customer contact.

Foreign markets demanded a new design
Increasing foreign sales also advanced this process, because our company could neither rely

upon our domestic reputation nor upon our dominant position in the Danish market. Despite all this, our product's foreign sales began to exceed our domestic sales in 2004. ”But we could not have succeeded so completely in our foreign markets without the incredible support we have received here in Denmark”, concludes Ove Larsen.

PCschematic ELautomation has become Automation
Ove Larsen reminds clients that our product, previously known as PCschematic ELautomation, has changed its name to Automation. This has been done to reflect the fact that the product is used for much more than merely electronics and automation. Currently, our product is especially being used for pneumatics and hydraulics as well.
