IEC/EN 82045-1:2002

Document management – Part 1: Principles and methods. This part of International Standard 82045 specifies principles and methods to define metadata for the management of documents associated with objects throughout their life cycle; this cycle generally covers a range from the conceptual idea of a document to its deletion. The established principles and methods are basic for all document management systems

EMC and telecommunication

IEC 61000-6-x series

This part of IEC 61000 for EMC immunity requirements applies to electrical and electronic apparatus intended for use in residential, commercial and light-industrial environments. Immunity requirements in the frequency range 0 Hz to 400 GHz are covered. No tests need to be performed at frequencies where no requirements are specified.

IEC 60757: 1997

Code for designation of colours. The standard applies to the text of descriptions, drawings, markings, etc., in the elctrotechnical field and lays down a letter code for the designation of some distinct colour.

IEC/EN 61175: 2006

Industrial systems, installations and equipment and industrial products - Designation of signals. This standard provides rules for the composition of designations and names for the identification of signals and signal connections. Includes the designation of power supply circuits.

IEC/EN 61286: 2003

IEC/EN 60204-1: 2009 (2010)

Safety of machinery - Electrical equipment of machines - Part 1: General requirements. This part of IEC 60204 is applicable to the electrical equipment or parts of the electrical equipment that operate with nominal supply voltages not exceeding 1.000 V for alternating current (a.c.) and not exceeding 1.500 V for direct current (d.c.), and with nominal supply frequencies not exceeding 200 Hz.

IEC/EN 60439-1: 2009

Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies - Part 1: General rules. The standard lays down the definitions and states the service conditions, construction requirements, technical characteristics and verification requirements for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies.

IEC/EN 60947 series (1998-2011)

IEC 81346, published jointly by IEC and ISO, establishes general principles for the structuring of systems including structuring of the information about systems. Based on these principles, rules and guidance are given for the formulation of unambiguous reference designations for objects in any system.

IEC/EN 61355: 2008

Classification and designation of documents for plants, systems and equipment - Part 1: Rules and classification tables. This part of IEC 61355 provides rules and guidelines for the classification of documents based on their characteristic content of information. A letter-code indicating the document kind class is provided together with rules and guidelines for its application in a document designation code. This standard is relevant for documents in all technical areas which are in use during the life cycle of a plant, system or equipment.

The International Standard lays down rules for signs and reference directions and reference polarities for electric currents and voltages in electric networks, as well as for the corresponding quantities in magnetic circuits.
